One year of Happee-ness

One year of Happee-ness

In November 2014, we had a dream called Happee, which came alive exactly one year ago. With high aspirations and positive vibes, we tried to spread Happeeness by offering high end fashion accessories on retail, which also brought good vibes to the amazing artisans and kids we collaborate with.

In one year a lot of things happened, and we would like to share and highlight the ones that brought us the coolest insights:

1. In one year, we worked with a range of 4 different types of products: shoes, souvenirs, scarves and handbags, all sourced in India, handmade by artisans and inspired by traditional Indian techniques, such as block printing, thread embroidery and bead embroidery.

2. Happeeness is already being spread in more than 10 countries in 3 continents, which means we are already on our way to achieving our initial goal of being a global brand, thanks to our beautiful, amazing customers <3

3. As one of our key aspects is to spread Happiness among children, we feel proud to say that we conducted some really cool activities with kids to empower them, educate them about social issues and also to broaden their mindsets about life and society. You can read about some of the activities in our other blog posts.

4. In one year time, we participated in 4 exhibitions, two in Delhi and 2 in Mumbai, out of which, one was organised to support women suffering from breast cancer and to spread awareness about the same. Sigh, indeed that was one great cause to be associated with.
Also, in April this year we established a pop up shop at one of the busiest avenues of Sao Paulo, Brazil - Paulista Avenue.

5. “Be the change you want to see in the world” - believing in this we did make a difference in the life of 4 HIV+ kids. For every product sold, we gave away $2 for their education. Hence, since July 2015, we already sponsored an entire year of education for 4 children. Help us make this number even bigger in the coming year. :)

I am sure if you are already a part of the Happee family, you must be feeling good about these little moments of joy. If not, be a part of our family and spread Happiness along with us. <3

With much love,

Leticia & Peeyush.

*The Brazilian sizes are already converted in the Portuguese version of the website.

*Our ballerinas fit the foot comfortably. Mojaris, however, are a type of shoe which are naturally a little tighter, as they adjust to the foot upon wearing.

*This chart may vary a little from other charts, as there is no international standard for shoe sizes.

*In case you still have any doubts regarding your size, send us an email at info@iamhappee.com, we will revert back ASAP. :)
