Giveaway Weekend with kids

From a very long time, we were planning to give away some gifts to the kids at our partner NGO. But this time we wanted to give away something cool and something that would give them joy whenever they use it or you can say wear it.
So we decided to give away summer t-shirts to each one of them, because summer is already here in India.

A surprise Sunday

On Sunday, I decided to go there in the evening and I didn't tell them about the gifts.
They welcomed me with their signature crazy way, jumping here and there, calling my name "Peeyush Bhaiya ! Peeyush Bhaiya! Hello! Hello!"
Until that moment, no one knew about the bag in which the t-shirts were. Suddenly, one of them came to me smirking and asked " Aaj aapka birthday hai kya, bhaiya? Jaldi bolo! Kya laaye ho hamare liye?" Asking if it was my birthday and I got something for them.
As soon as he said this, every single one made a hurdle around me, creating chaos and asking the same thing and wishing me " Happy birthday, Bhaiya"
It took me a few minutes to make them quiet and say I'd got t-shirts to give away .
And yet again the air was filled with joy and happiness.

Some of them were so happy, that while I was giving t-shirts to other kids, they also wanted pose with them and collect the t-shirts with them.
After I finished distributing t-shirts, what did I see?
They already started wearing the t-shirts and started running here and there. Later we clicked some pictures together, posing and being crazy.
The highlight of the day was when they found out there was a way to record slow motion videos from my phone.

Everybody was so happy seeing themselves jumping in slow motion, which just made my day.
Today I learnt that Happee-ness is something which only multiplies when it's shared. Also, you don't need to do big things / spend a lot of money to be Happee; small moments like these can make your day <3

Here are some pictures from the day:

*The Brazilian sizes are already converted in the Portuguese version of the website.

*Our ballerinas fit the foot comfortably. Mojaris, however, are a type of shoe which are naturally a little tighter, as they adjust to the foot upon wearing.

*This chart may vary a little from other charts, as there is no international standard for shoe sizes.
