Today, on this environment day, we want to share about one beautiful organization, which is currently helping this world and our planet earth in lot of ways: Barefoot College.
This is an organisation which is incredible in the kind of approach they have.
The College has adopted the Gandhian ideas into its lifestyle and work ethics, holding it true and relevant universally even in the 21st Century. They not only empower poor, uneducated people especially women, but their approach and concept , where they educate the old/ grandmas of the particular village in order to bring harmony in their respective villages makes them unique and exceptional.
Since 1989, Barefoot College has been harnessing the sun’s energy to help rural communities thrive by applying solutions in four critical areas of village life:
1) solar electrification of 1000+ villages, 2) hot water,
3) solar cookers, and 4) fresh drinking water through
solar powered desalination.
Why we shared this post today is not only to showcase their story and their contribution, but also to enlighten each one of you who is reading this post.
In Today's world, being educated in true sense is when you use your education to do something which not only helps you to survive but also to help this world become better and and you contribute your part in improving the state of the mother earth.

*The Brazilian sizes are already converted in the Portuguese version of the website.
*Our ballerinas fit the foot comfortably. Mojaris, however, are a type of shoe which are naturally a little tighter, as they adjust to the foot upon wearing.
*This chart may vary a little from other charts, as there is no international standard for shoe sizes.
*In case you still have any doubts regarding your size, send us an email at info@iamhappee.com, we will revert back ASAP. :)
