5 WAYS HOW TRAVELLING CHANGES US!

5 WAYS HOW TRAVELLING CHANGES US!

1.Travel is Freedom

Leaving home for the first time is absolute freedom. The ability to touch down in Asia and go anywhere feels incredible. My first backpacking trip around Thailand gave me the confidence I was lacking in life and I returned home with a better attitude and new outlook on my direction in life. Now, I have a goal to travel 20 countries before 2020.

2. Travel Changes Your Perspective

It doesn’t matter where you grow up because you are going to have a unique perspective on the world. I was born in Pink City, Jaipur and worked with an international organisation called AIESEC at a young age. Over there, I met 10-20 people on a monthly basis  from the east of the world to the west of the world,  different cultures, origins, even eye colour. *Pun Intended*.

When you travel overseas you realise none of this matters and your views on everything take on a new perspective. You learn how people view your country as a whole and it challenges you to take a harder look at your personal stances. The world would be a better place if we all left our comfort zones and experienced another culture.

3.Travel Brings New Connections

Meeting someone from another country changes you. You gain entirely new perspectives on the world from the conversations you have and the meals you share. You realize what you see in the news is not reality and friendships can be formed in all corners of the globe. I’ve made friends all over the world and they are people who would welcome me in their homes, if I visit their city and vice versa. Travel friendships are some of the strongest and most unique relationships I have today.
Infact, these are connections which makes me a global citizen, I belong to the world more than just one place.

4. You open up to different ways of living.

No country or even city lives the same way. Countries have different cultures, and people have different beliefs, but when you travel, you see that no matter how different people are or the way they live, there is inherent goodness in most people. It’s the common thread that ties us all together.
Whenever I travel, most of times the people , the culture , the way of living of that place leaves me in awe. Realising the truth about life, I try to be more adaptive, more happy and value my life.

5. You value experience over things.

Once you’re hooked on traveling and understand its true power, you know that looking up at the Eiffel Tower or seeing the beaches in Thailand out-values any merchandise you could ever possibly purchase. Instead of buying a luxurious car, you invest in what’s more important to you—seeing places you haven’t been to yet and immersing yourself in new cultures. Travel doesn’t become something you do—it’s a way of life.
I have made a life goal to travel atleast the same number of countries as my age  ;)
Now that's something valuable and worth living for.

*The Brazilian sizes are already converted in the Portuguese version of the website.

*Our ballerinas fit the foot comfortably. Mojaris, however, are a type of shoe which are naturally a little tighter, as they adjust to the foot upon wearing.

*This chart may vary a little from other charts, as there is no international standard for shoe sizes.
